Drilling and injection is a specialized process designed to prevent water ingress in areas where traditional surface-applied membranes might not be sufficient. The benefits of drilling and injection include minimal disruption to the existing structure, the ability to address localized issues with precision, and the creation of a robust, long-lasting barrier against water ingress. This method is particularly advantageous for foundational waterproofing as it can effectively treat areas that are difficult to access or highly susceptible to high hydrostatic pressure, such as basement walls, foundations, and retaining walls.

  • The first step involves identifying the exact locations of water ingress. Using advanced diagnostic tools, we assess the structure to pinpoint cracks, voids, or porous areas that require intervention.

  • Once the problem areas are identified, we drill small, strategically placed holes along the affected sections of the structure. These holes serve as entry points for the injection materials and are carefully positioned to maximize the effectiveness of the treatment.

  • Through these drilled holes, we inject specialized waterproofing materials, such as polyurethane or acrylic gels, into the cracks and voids. These materials are selected based on the specific conditions of the site, such as the type of structure, the nature of the water infiltration, and environmental factors. The injected materials fill the voids and expand, creating a watertight seal that prevents further water ingress.

    Acrylic gels, on the other hand, offer quick setting times, high penetration capabilities and are structural in nature, making them ideal for fine cracks and intricate voids in structural areas.

  • After the injection process, we conduct thorough inspections to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment. This includes checking for any residual moisture and verifying the integrity of the newly formed seals. We use moisture meters and other diagnostic tools to confirm that the structure is fully protected.
